Margin Media has been accepted as a professional consultant for the Jobs Assist Program

Providing our clients with the best possible online communication strategy and ongoing support has been recognised by the Queensland government with $8000 government grants on offer to eligible businesses.

Your business may be eligible for a professional online marketing plan and implementation to the value of $8,000 paid for by the Queensland Government under the Jobs Assist Program.

The Queensland Government is now moving towards a preventative approach to job losses, focusing on helping businesses to be resilient to the effects of the global financial crisis and to prepare for the future as conditions improve.

Margin Media has been chosen to provide consultation under the Jobs Assist Program, enabling your business to have a fully developed online marketing action plan and tools such as updatable websites. This assistance and support is designed to help businesses to help themselves – strong, resilient businesses help to protect jobs. There is a strong link between the continuing viability of businesses in a downturn and their ability to retain workers.

Support on offer:

The Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation will pay Margin Media to provide you the following assistance:

Stage 1 - $3000 grant

Margin Media will conduct an assessment of the client’s business and develop an Action Plan to address all strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the business including an effective reporting process and select strategies and actions to support and improve the business. Total value $3000 paid by The Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation.

Stage 2 - $5000 grant

Margin Media will provide assistance and mentoring to the client to help implement the activities identified as immediate priority tasks in their Action Plan that could include an effective easy to manage website. Total Value up to $5000 paid by The Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria under this activity are that the business must be:

1. Be one of the following

Located within one of the following Priority Employment Areas:

  • Ipswich
  • Logan City
  • Southern Wide Bay Burnett
  • Bundaberg - Hervey Bay
  • Cairns
  • Caboolture - Sunshine Coast
  • Townsville - Thuringowa; or

fall within one of the key industry sectors and be considered to be of critical or strategic importance to the State, region, industry or in a significant sectoral supply chain:

  • Aviation and aerospace
  • Defence
  • Biotechnology
  • Environmental and mining technologies and services
  • Information and communication technology
  • Marine
  • Therapeutic medicines and devices
  • Processed food
  • Tourism
  • Alternative and renewable fuels
  • Aquaculture
  • Advanced manufacturing
  • Wine
  • Fibre Composites
  • Liquified natural gas
  • Creative Industries

2. Employ 10 or more FTE employees

3. Have an established operating base in Queensland

4. Have an ABN number and be registered for GST

To apply for your Online Marketing Business Plan simply contact Margin Media who will assess your initial eligibility and work with you to complete the necessary application forms. Please note time is limited to apply for this grant as it is not known if this will continue past this financial year.
