Over the past few months, our team has had the privilege of working alongside the incredible people behind the zVoice for Victims Foundation to help bring their mission online.
The result is a purpose-built website designed to connect Queenslanders affected by crime with the support, information and resources they need to begin moving forward.
About the Voice for Victims Foundation
Founded on lived experience, Voice for Victims Foundation has been established to provide practical, trauma-informed support and recovery pathways for victims of violent crime across Queensland.
For many people, the aftermath of crime can feel overwhelming. Navigating services, understanding available support and knowing where to turn can add further stress to an already difficult situation.
The foundation exists to ensure victims do not have to navigate recovery alone. Through guidance, practical support and trusted resources, they focus on improving wellbeing, dignity and long-term outcomes for those impacted by violent crime.
Building a Digital Platform That Supports
The foundation came to us with a clear vision: create a central place where victims, families and supporters can easily access help when they need it most.
Our role at Margin Media was to translate that vision into a digital experience that is simple, supportive and easy to navigate.
The platform was built to guide visitors directly to the information or support they need without unnecessary complexity or confusion.
Key features of the new website include:
- A clear website structure that guides victims to support services, resources and self-help information
- Dedicated pathways for donations, volunteering, fundraising and partnerships
- Integrated donation functionality with multiple ways for supporters to contribute
- Simple support request forms designed to minimise confusion during stressful situations
- A modern, accessible interface aligned with the foundation’s identity and mission
Every element of the site was designed with accessibility and clarity in mind. The goal was not just to present information but to create a digital space where visitors feel supported from the moment they arrive.

Celebrating the Official Foundation Launch
The Voice for Victims Foundation officially celebrated its launch with a special event at Tangalooma Island Resort on Friday 6th March.
Guests travelled to the island via private ferry from Brisbane before enjoying a beachfront lunch under a marquee. The day included live music, guest speakers, auctions and raffles, all while raising awareness and support for the foundation’s work.
Margin Media Managing Director Mat Lewis had the chance to attend the event.
“It was an incredible day and a great opportunity to see the community rally behind such an important initiative,” he said.
“Voice for Victims is doing vital work to support people during incredibly difficult times. We’re proud to have played a small role in helping bring their mission online and making it easier for people across Queensland to access the support they need.”
Supporting an Important Mission
Working closely with the Voice for Victims team, we created a website designed around accessibility, clarity and support. The result is a central place where people affected by crime can find guidance and resources, while supporters and volunteers can easily get connected.
We’re proud to have played a part in bringing the foundation’s mission online and look forward to seeing the impact it continues to make across Queensland.
